Bone Weapon - Thrive or Starve:
My aim was to keep a relatively simple, yet gritty aesthetic to the design of this project. I simplified images of skulls, bones and stone to clean vectors to be strategically placed between text. I kept a simple typewriter style font for the credits and an all caps version of the same font for the lyrics. The title was created separately with a purposefully disheveled typewriter font in all caps to match the look and feel.
Severed Boy - Tragic Encounters
the client had me do an original illustration for the cover art as well as the design and layout for the J-Card Template. A simple serif font worked nicely throughout. I Adjusted kerning for each set of lyrics to best fit the panels.

original scratchboard cover art and full layout. client provided an extensive amount of text including lyrics and credits. I chose to ignore the fold line boundaries in order to fit and balance some of the text.

features cover artwork by Stephen Wilson (Unknown Relic), and an original logo by me.
I chose old english font for titles, but client requested hand written type for all of the inner panel.

PilläRs - Failed State:
This simple 2-sided record sleeve was created to facilitate a 2 color (red and black) screenprint on a white surface. It features an original illustration and some elements of found imagery manipulated and simplified into vectors. I kept the text simple with the "Boston" font from the cover and chose an old english font for the titles in keeping with a type face traditionally used in punk music. I framed the back with elements of the front illustration in red, with an element of grit for texture.
